Kingdom Builders Magazine 2026

Each and every one of us. We are all Kingdom Builders.

Each and every one of us. We are all Kingdom Builders.

What is Kingdom Builders?

1 Chronicles 29:14 (NIV): "...For everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand".

Kingdom Builders (KB) is our opportunity to reach more people with the Gospel in Calgary and around the world.
It is funded by individuals and families who regularly give over and above their tithe to extend God’s Kingdom through Missions and Vision.

KB Missions: We support local and global missionaries each month and invest in projects annually.
Meeting needs, reaching people, and bringing hope and life transformation beyond where we can personally go.

KB Vision 100: We are building the church for the next generation and creating a lasting legacy.
This includes local church expansion and the development of our south property so more people can hear the Gospel and encounter Jesus.

Everyone can be a Kingdom Builder. It is not about equal giving, but equal participation.

Together, we are building the future of the church in Calgary, reaching the nations and making an eternal impact.

Updates
  • Welcome to the 2026 Kingdom Builders Missions Magazine!

At FA Church, Kingdom Builders is our commitment to join God’s mission - expanding the Gospel in Calgary, across Canada, and around the world, making an eternal and lasting impact both locally and globally. This year’s theme, “Devoted: One Church. One World. One Mission,” calls us to live fully devoted to Jesus’ Great Commission: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:19). As followers of Christ, we are called to share the Good News everywhere, with everyone, and together as one church family devoted to God’s mission in our city, our nation, and the nations of the world.

In response to Jesus’ call, we are focusing
on missional devotion in three areas:
    Devoted Locally, Nationally & Globally.

  • Compassion and Care
Meeting practical and spiritual needs by sharing Christ’s love through ministries such as the Calgary Dream Centre, FA Cares, FA Pantry, Derek’s Youth Centre, and other mercy-focused partnerships across our city.

    Church Expansion – Vision 100
Our “Jerusalem” is Calgary. As FA continues to grow, we are creating more space to reach more people. Our Seton Campus continues to grow in preparation for a future permanent campus on our south property.

    Campuses and Service Times
As our services reach capacity here at Elbow Drive, we are prayerfully exploring new campus and service times - both at our current location and in other parts of our city. Like the vessels in 2 Kings 4, we believe that as room is made, God will continue to fill each vessel, as He pours out His Spirit across Calgary.

  • Northwest Territories Mission
Our “Judea and Samaria” includes the Northwest Territories (NWT). In the NWT, we partner with Alberta and Northwest Territories District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (ABNWT) and the Clarences to advance the Pentecostal Sub-Arctic Mission. Through ongoing support and mission teams, we continue investing in the North.

    Quebec Partnership
In Quebec - Canada’s most unreached region, we are developing a new ministry partnership with Quebec church through Mission Canada. We are planning future missions teams and projects in reaching Quebec.

  • Global Workers and Projects
We continue to reach “the ends of the earth” by supporting over 12 global workers and their families, representing over 30 nations, Through our partnerships we are supporting strategic Kingdom Builders projects around the world - from compassion and child care, to Bible translation and reaching unreached people groups, to strengthening churches, Bible colleges, and evangelism initiatives.

I invite you to read through this magazine, become familiar with our global workers and the nations they serve, and celebrate the stories of how God is working through us together as we come alongside these incredible partners in the harvest.

Devoted together, we are making an eternal impact. Thank you for praying, giving, and going, across the street and around the world. Together, we are on mission.

    Pastor Ben and Heather

  • Vision 100 – Building for the Future

In 2029, First Assembly will celebrate 100 years of God’s faithfulness. Vision 100 is our commitment to the future and lasting legacy of FA, by strengthening and expanding the local church, multiplying future leaders, and reaching as many people as possible with the Gospel.

Our 49.5-acre south property is being prepared to enable this vision through establishing a future campus, Christian school, and senior living community. After years of planning, we reached a major milestone last April with land-use approval. Architects have now begun planning for phase 1 of a permanent church structure on our south land. As we continue to pray and give, we are heading towards our next exciting chapter as a church, and an important faith-step toward seeing Vision 100 realized.

Seton Campus continues to grow, with around 300 gathering weekly and 52 baptisms since launch. At the same time, over 100 students are being discipled through our ministry schools as future church leaders.

This is the heart of Vision 100:
Extending God’s Kingdom, multiplying disciples and building a legacy for the Gospel in our city. Thank you, FA Church, for moving forward in faith together.

     - Pastor Ben Johnson
