How FA CARES Serves

 

FA Hope

We understand that life can be challenging. Whether you're navigating a difficult season or simply need someone to walk alongside you, our team is here to provide compassionate support.

Throughout every step, we provide ongoing pastoral care to help people find hope, healing, and a place to thrive.

  • We evaluate the situation to ensure the appropriate care.

  • We provide spiritual guidance, counselling, and conflict management and mediation.

  • In cases where further professional care is required, we refer people to trusted counsellors and agencies of hope.

FA Hampers

Since March 2020, our volunteers gather twice a month to prepare food hampers filled with healthy groceries to provide to families in need throughout our city. We are reminded of Jesus' words, “For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat.” Matthew 25:36.

If you are in need of a food hamper, we are here to help.

FA Mechanics

We believe in practical love in action. FA Mechanics connects generous donors with families in need by restoring donated vehicles through our team of volunteer mechanics. With support from the FA Cares fund, we provide essential repairs, turning cars into life-changing gifts. Since launching, we've placed 74 vehicles into the hands of families, giving them freedom and security.

FA Benevolence

We aim to embody the kindness and generosity of Jesus in all we do. Our hearts are open to those in our congregation who are facing unexpected challenges or experiencing financial hardship.

This initiative is grounded in the principle of giving, as Jesus said in Luke 6:38 “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.””
