FA INTERNS IS A DISCIPLESHIP JOURNEY OF LEARNING TO “LOVE GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, SOUL, AND MIND …. AND LOVING OTHERS AS WELL AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF.” DISCOVER WHO GOD CREATED YOU TO BE, HOW HE SPEAKS TO YOU, HOW HE EQUIPS YOU, AND HOW HE PLACES YOU TO MAKE AN IMPACT.
Heart: We’ll delve into how God created us to have an intimate relationship with Him where He fills the desires of our heart.
Soul: Have you ever wondered “How do I hear from God?” We will explore understanding God’s calling on your life, diving guidance, spiritual authority, and communication with God.
Mind: We will journey through the challenge of being transformed by the renewing of our mind and specific skill sets and tools to use to live and lead with the mind of Christ.
Others: What does it look like to love our neighbour as ourself and what is the role of the church? We will look at how God has placed you to impact our city and the nations.

This takes full submission to everything he's called you to do in your walk with Jesus and in your leadership. Our prayer is that you grow to a place of spiritually leading yourself so that you can do so with others. It's a big commitment, bigger than you think! But that's what Christ has called us to do with our lives. So we're gonna live it together! We ask you to stick with us through the exhaustion, frustration (we guarantee you'll get frustrated at least a few times this year), the stress and the pressure. We ask that be encouraged to take risks in our community, in your faith and in your leadership. We ask that you be with us, as we do it together!
But on a practical note.......

It has been said that FA Interns is a big commitment. We pray it is,and in it we also pray that it be one of the most life giving commitments you make this year. When you apply to be an FA Intern, you are choosing to take ownership of your faith , your spiritual walk with Jesus and most all, you are choosing to "love people to Jesus". This will require you follow through with all the expectations listed above and live it with the utmost grace.
